Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory Inc. (MAGIC) Announces Build to Scale (B2S) Venture Challenge Tri-County Student Internship Opportunity
MAGIC, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on creating a thriving tech ecosystem in Westminster, MD, is proud to announce the launch of a new student research internship opportunity, as part of phase one of it’s federally funded Build to Scale (B2S) Venture Challenge, Grow Rural Opportunity in Maryland (GRO MD).
This six-month position will provide a unique opportunity for local high school or college students in Carroll, Frederick and Harford counties to contribute to a federally funded grant program, and gain valuable hands-on experience with data analysis and economic research. Successful candidates can expect to participate with MAGIC in a tri-county, regionally driven partnership that includes Army Alliance, Frederick Innovative Technology Center, Inc. (FITCI), and the Harford County Office of Economic Development (HCOED).
“This is a great opportunity for students to get valuable, real world experience working with emerging industry sectors,” said Graham Dodge, Executive Director of MAGIC. “It could also position themselves for roles in potential subsequent phases of this grant program.”
