The Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory (MAGIC) sponsors student programming to enhance workforce development for technology companies, particularly in the cybersecurity industry. Unlike many competitions out there, MAGIC events are positioned as entry-level beginner competitions to appeal to the widest possible population of students. High school, college, and nontraditional college students interested in pursuing a career in cybersecurity are invited to participate.
The Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory creates the space for technology innovation and entrepreneurship to thrive. MAGIC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to fully realizing the economic development potential of the broadband infrastructure located in our community.
MAGIC provides hands-on technology and entrepreneurial education experiences for communities to enrich their understanding and interest in technology. Education is key in providing the building blocks for a strong community workforce.
MAGIC creates technology innovation projects like Healthy Smart Home and Autonomous Corridor to demonstrate what is possible when community partners work together to solve problems.
MAGIC leverages the unique advantages of the Westminster Fiber Network to make our community a go-to destination for technology entrepreneurs, companies, and professionals.
