Featuring 6 Tech Startups based in Carroll County, Maryland
StartUp Lab, a year-long pilot program by the Mid-Atlantic Gigabit Innovation Collaboratory (MAGIC) to boost STEM startup companies in Carroll County, Maryland, is proud to announce the selection of its premier cohort.
Featuring six companies within the local tech ecosystem and representing various sectors such as entertainment, healthcare, human services, and information technology, these entrepreneurs will have the unique opportunity to tackle their present obstacles and receive valuable peer-supported guidance.
“We had enough applications for a cohort twice this size, so we had to make some tough decisions,” said Graham Dodge, Executive Director of MAGIC. “That’s good news for our ecosystem and the need for this program, so we look forward to helping this initial cohort, watching them grow, and then doing it again to help others.”
StartUp Lab has been made possible by the support of Carroll County Department of Economic Development, Maryland Department of Commerce, Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO), and Startup Portal.
