As a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, MAGIC’s primary goal is not to profit, but rather to provide invaluable resources to the public and make a positive impact on our community. More specifically, we create the space for tech innovation and entrepreneurship to thrive.
We rely on the support of our friends, neighbors, and community in order to continue our efforts to enhance economic development in Westminster and Carroll County. Wondering about the ways you can help an organization like us? Here are some ideas:
Start Your Day with MAGIC Beans!
Here’s a way you can support your local nonprofit and stay caffeinated at the same time. MAGIC has recently teamed up with Westminster roasters Furnace Hills Coffee to create a unique line-up of delicious roasted coffee blends called MAGIC Beans. The sales from these products will support our mission to build a tech ecosystem in Westminster for creating jobs and supporting startups.

- Capture the Flag: A bi-annual Ethical Hacking Cybersecurity competition open to high school, college, and nontraditional college students interested in pursuing a career in Cybersecurity.
- Cyber Club: A free, bi-monthly tech experience for high school students interested in Cybersecurity that offers opportunities for learning and growth in the field.
- Hackathon: An annual, weekend-long event where students interested in tech can learn to design, develop, and pitch their idea for an app that may change the community, or possibly even the world.
- Healthy Smart Home Project: A project that aims to improve home-based healthcare by bringing innovation and efficiency to the way health data is gathered, stored, analyzed, and used in a residential setting.
