This single day build spring begins with a keynote presentation that gives participants an overview of the process and details of what judges will be looking for in their presentations. We then turn our participants loose in their teams to begin the creation process. Mentors are available to help teams flesh out their ideas, answer questions, or just be a sounding board and knowledge base. By 6 p.m., teams put the finishing touches on their presentations and submit them to the organizers. Live judging begins at 7 p.m. Judging will take place directly after the final presentation and winners will be announced after deliberation by the judges.

It’s free to participate. This is a great resume builder and networking opportunity unlike any other event in Carroll County.

The Best Overall winning team will receive $200 Amazon gift cards and competition ribbons. Runner-up categories of Best Tech, Best design, Best Pitch, and Best Idea will receive competition ribbons.  All teams that place in any of the categories will also have the opportunity to consult with industry professionals to forward their app idea to market.
