SumoBot Camp
Dive into the world of robotics through a ‘sumo’ style robot match/competition. Kids ages 10-13 will learn how to design and program a robot. They will learn hands-on basic programming design to control their robot through programming motors and sensors. At the end of the camp, kids will put their SumoBot to the test in an exciting showdown where their robot will try and push another robot out of the competition area/ring. It’s a chance to understand the engineering process while having fun in a friendly competition. Plus they will gain valuable skills like problem solving, teamwork, and resilience which are important in the real world.
We will be hosting 2 camps at the MAGIC offices, 38 West Main Street, Westminster, MD 21157. We have limited space so sign up today.
