Spire Girls
Spire Girls is a leadership program for young women in Carroll County. Through this program, we wish to make students aware of the opportunities available to them, the resources at their disposal, and the supportive community that we have right here.
MAGIC’s Spire Girls program is best suited for young women in high school, but 8th-grade students are also welcome to join. It’s not a club – students are free to attend as many or as few events as they’d like. Our goal is to provide a speaker event and outing every other month throughout the school year.
Our next Spire Girls meeting will take place on Saturday, March 25 at Exploration Commons from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. There is no cost to attend. Lunch and snacks are on us! Join us for a spectacular space science event featuring a talk from Alex Lockwood, Project Scientist at the Space Telescope Science Institute, and a showing of the movie Hidden Figures. There’ll be Q&A with our speaker plus after-move trivia and prizes — including vouchers to the Maryland Science Center! Thank you to the Maryland Science Center for donating this fantastic prize for our students.
Please RSVP using the form below.
