Beginner Electronics Bootcamp
Learn about electronics, coding, and basic engineering using an easy-to-learn starter electronics kit! This kit uses an Arduino Integrated Development Environment (IDE) to build interactive electronic gadgets.
MAGIC’s Beginner Electronics Bootcamp course introduces hardware components such as motors, sensors, switches, and lights. Each lesson builds upon the last, introducing more complex ideas and challenges each week. We’ll work through several projects to build each student’s confidence in working with Arduino-compatible starter kits, the basic programming necessary to use them, and the basic principles of electronics.
This is a hands-on course for beginners. It is best suited for grades 6 thru 8.
Laptops are required with loaners available.
Classes are held from August 7 thru August 10 from 6PM – 8PM.
Registration is $60. The registration fee includes the electronics kit and everything needed to complete all projects.
